We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, to be based in our Foster City headquarters, be responsible for all customer service duties related to Next Generation Sequencing projects run in our Foster City lab. The successful candidate will be able to manage project tracking and to provide timely project updates and delivery to the sales team. He / she will have necessary technical and interpersonal skills to handle communications between sales team, lab members and the clients.
The incumbent must have exposure to current sequencing trends and technologies and must be passionate about innovating new applications that use Next Generation Sequencing technologies. The scientist must be able to learn quickly, creatively solve problems, and communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or equivalent depth of knowledge and experience in molecular biology or genetics, especially as applied to NGS applications in Immunology and cancer.
The NGS Research associate will work on NGS assays for RNA, single cell and immune profiling projects and work collaboratively to develop new assays based on requests from the commercial team.
The incumbent must have a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or a PhD in Biological Sciences with sales and marketing experience from NGS Sequencing or omics related industries. This individual will be responsible for driving sales and marketing activities within their assigned territory. Boston Based is preferred.
